Thank you for taking time to read this edition of the Agrievolution newsletter. As you read the following excerpts from alliance members you will note a key strength of the alliance is information. As a global organization we have the ability to share, compare, and contrast vast amounts of information impacting the agricultural equipment markets in different parts of the world consolidated in one resource called Agrievolution.
In addition to the newsletter, you have access to more detailed information on the machinery markets by going to the Agrievolution website, agrievolution.com. On the website you will find Agrievolution Barometers that provide perceptions from company experts in the industry projecting trends in their respective regions. You will also find Agrievolution Country Reports that provide detailed information on economic conditions that currently impact the market ranging from commodity trends, equipment forecast, domestic tractor sales, export tractor sales, and key influencers of equipment sales.
The future is bright for the alliance as consideration is being given to expanding services. At a recent steering committee meeting hosted by Alliance member KAMICO in South Korea, a proposal was made to consider Agrievolution hosting a global agricultural technical meeting. This meeting would bring agricultural company technical experts together from around the world to share current technical, regulatory and legislative issues they are facing that would impact those wanting to do business in their market or that may also soon impact other regions of the world.
Agrievolution members will be attending a similar meeting of construction technical experts in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA in March. The meeting will be hosted by the Association of Equipment Manufactures at their trade show, CONEXPO-CON/AGG. The objective for alliance members attending this construction meeting is to gain a better understanding of the benefits of this type of technical information sharing forum. The Agrievolution Steering Committee will then determine if the Agrievolution Alliance should host a similar meeting. Stay tuned as a decision will be made on hosting a global agricultural technical meeting later this year.
